STEVE GARBE developed the SPG Bullet Lubricant formula in 1983 for his own use. His goal was a bullet lubricant that would work in all cast bullet firearms at all temperatures. More than 200 hundred different formulas were tested over a three-year period, identifying successful ingredients and techniques for lubricant preparation. The final formula was tested in a variety of cast bullet firearms, using black and smokeless powder and under a wide range of temperatures to assure that SPG Lube was indeed an all-purpose, all temperature cast bullet lubricant. SPG Bullet Lube is the best known bullet lube in BPCR Shooting Sports and cited in many Target Shooting Reference Books and articles.

The goal being to maintain the accuracy and performance for serious competitor known and expected with the Classic SPG Bullet lube. Larry has also expanded the product line with more books and accessories including a stock conditioner and wood finish. The 2nd Amendment and Liberty are taken seriously at SPG Sales. We support our service members and the shooting sports as much as possible. We take pride in supporting all shooting matches when requested.
